Teqeia Jones -Murphy: 7th Grade Mathematics

I'm from a small town called Saint Matthews, SC (about an hour west of Charleston, SC and 30 minutes east of Columbia, SC).  I attended Calhoun County Public Schools and graduated from Calhoun County High School as co-valedictorian in 2002.  I attended Clemson University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and a minor in Elementary Education in December 2006.  After serving as a substitute teacher in the Rock Hill, SC school district for several years, I decided that teaching children was my true calling and decided to advance my career in Education!

I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Teaching Middle Grades Mathematics (6th to 9th grades) from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
